Stitches East is almost here!

FYI, the shop will be closed from Tuesday, November 4th (go vote!) through Sunday, November 9th because we'll all be at Stitches East!

New stuff!

So we're *almost* done setting up the new computer system (I think all I have left to do are the rest of the buttons and the random stuff that's in the register case), and we're starting to get new things in!

This week we got a big shipment of Scarlet Fleece It's Tubular x2 (sock yarn) in a bunch of really pretty colors, and we also got in a ton of Jade Sapphire's Lacey Lamb. We have much more on order, so keep checking back here or on our Ravelry group for updates!

Back to school sit n knit

Monday is the first day of school for my baby. At least last year when Frick went, I had Frack to distract me and get ice cream with. This year I’ll be all alone.

So in an attempt to stay sober until the bus arrives, I’ve decided to host a sit n knit for those of you in my boat.
Be it the first time you let your babies go, or the joy that comes with doing this for many years, please come by the shop, Monday 25 August from 9:30 to 2.

We got all of the colors of Melody superwash (fingering weight) AND Harmony (lace weight)!

New Hours

Starting today we're switching over to summer hours. The only change is that Tuesday through Saturday we'll be opening at 11am instead of 10am.

We can't wait to see people at Sheep and Wool! We had people in today buying last minute class supplies :)

Contest winner + MDS&W

We just wanted to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who came out to count sheep this past weekend! And congratulations to our winner Cassie! I think she was only two off from the correct number--and there were quite a few sheep hidden all over the place, so that's quite an accomplishment :)

Also, we will be open this weekend during the Sheep and Wool Festival--so if you need to get needles for the new projects you picked up, stop on by! We're only about 15 minutes from the fairgrounds.

Plus we'll be hosting a mini trunk show of Storm Moon Knits yarn this weekend (and possibly next week as well)!
